Here's a picture of Ayana and Moses in their traditional Ethiopian clothes. They're sitting in front of an Ethiopian flag, right before we left for church for their dedication.
This is the story of mine and my family's journey across the world to live and work in rural Africa. In September 2009 we left Canada, and after a few months of traveling (England, Greece, Egypt, Uganda!), we arrived in South Africa, where we lived for nearly a year before moving back down to Uganda for a brief transition period. After several months spent in Uganda, we finally left for Zimbabwe, to pioneer our own ministry focusing on child headed househoulds and AIDs orphans. Since then I (Erin) and my sister have moved back to Canada to go to school, but the rest of the family is still in Zimbabwe, working hard... we're all excited to see what God has in store for the ministry next!
